Barnes TechAnil Dash writing about a forthcoming Oprah special about AI - How Oprah will screw up the AI story. I think he’s likely completely correct on this.
I like Oprah fine, but this would not be the first time she kind of glosses over an issue causing bigger issues by not covering it terribly well.
It appears she will have some good guests on the show, but it is seemingly almost entirely AI evangelists, so we’ll see how this all goes. Regardless, we need more good coverage of what’s actually happening in AI and some of the actual risks of AI.
